Vegetable Lentil Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 onion

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • some curry powder

  • 1 can lentils

  • 2 cups frozen vegetables

  • 1 tsp vegetable stock

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 sheets pastry

  • 1 egg

Directions

  • Saute onion and minced garlic in saucepan

  • Add curry powder and cook until fragant

  • Add lentils and frozen vegetables

  • Add vegetable stock and water and simmer

  • Grease casserole dish

  • Transfer pie contents to dish

  • Cut pastry into strips

  • Arrange in a lattice formation over pie

  • Paint beaten egg on pastry

  • Cook until pastry is golden
